Have a go at throwing a pot or three on one of our potters wheels, in this fully tutored stand-alone session, suitable for beginners and refresher potters too!

We'll walk you through the basics to get you started throwing on the wheel, as well as giving you a brief introduction to the ceramic process; from clay to kiln.

Each student can select their favourite piece to take home. An additional 2 pots may be selected to keep at a cost of £5 per pot. We'll lovingly glaze and fire your selected pots for you to collect a few weeks later.

Course includes:

• a wheel to yourself for the entire class

• unlimited practice clay

• a choice of 4 studio glazes

• up to 3 finished pieces to take home*

Please:

• wear clothes you're happy to get messy

• tie back long hair, cut fingernails short, and leave precious jewellery at home

We run taster classes every other Thursday evening and Saturday morning. If you can’t see a date available, it’s likely already sold out. Do join our newsletter if you’d like to be kept up to date with our new class releases!

Please allow 4-6 weeks for work to be fired.

BOOKING TERMS:

Our courses are non-refundable. We are a small independent studio, and as such, once a place has been booked, we reserve that space just for you!

If you wish to re-schedule your course with more than 3 weeks notice, we will re-list the space on our website. If we are able to re-sell your spot in the time remaining, we will allow you to reschedule. If we are not able to re-sell you spot, we will not offer rescheduling, but are happy for you offer your place to a friend.

PLEASE NOTE…

We require a minimum uptake of 4 potters to run this course. It is possible that, once confirmed, the course will be postponed in the event that the number of participants is insufficient. Should this happen, we may need to contact you to rearrange to an alternative date, or if unsuitable you will be refunded in full.

*and regarding your take-home pots….

We include one pot within the cost of the class. Additional pots (up to 3 per potter) may be taken home. In an effort to encourage our potters to think green and only fire work they love, we charge £5 per pot for the 2nd and 3rd if you wish to keep them :)
